Paul Flaharty, technology jobs expert with Robert Half, joined Scripps News to share good news for college graduates: "65% of employers plan to hire entry level professionals in the 1st half of 2024." While companies plan to hire for entry-level roles, he adds that “It’s challenging for first time job seekers. According to our research 42% of workers said they didn’t feel well compensated when they took their first position, so not keeping up with competitive pay data can be a major challenge. Thankfully there are data points like the Robert half Salary Guide that help a job seeker know their worth.”
