usic of the 1960s and 1970s leads the entertainment highlights coming to local and regional venues over the next two weeks.

Dave Mason’s Traffic Jam, featuring the 2004 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, will play Penn’s Peak.

The venue also will host Tommy James & The Shondells, the Happy Together Tour and Jefferson Starship. The latter evolved from ’60s rock band Jefferson Airplane.

Meanwhile, PyleTribe - featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Artimus Pyle, a 2006 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee - will bring Southern rock to the Signature Event Center.

• Dave Mason’s Traffic Jam, 8 p.m. June 7. Mason co-found English rock band Traffic in 1967, penning, among others, “Hole in My Shoe” and “Feelin’ Alright?” The singer-guitarist’s hit solo singles include “Only You Know and I Know” and ‘”We Just Disagree.”

• Tommy James & The Shondells, 8 p.m. June 8. James, born in Ohio, scored 1960s-era Shondells hits such as “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Mony Mony.” The singer‘s solo hits include 1970s “Draggin’ the Line” and 1979’s “Three Times in Love.”

• Happy Together Tour, 8 p.m. June 13. The tour, in its 15th year, features 1960s acts such as The Turtles/Ron Dante, Jay and the Americans, The Association and Badfinger.

• Bruce in the USA, 8 p.m. June 14. Concert for Carbon. The show, featuring Matt Ryan in the role of Bruce Springsteen, benefits Lehigh Valley Hospital–Carbon.

• Jefferson Starship, 8 p.m. June 15. The band, an offshoot of San Francisco psychedelic rock band Jefferson Airplane, features original member David Freiberg. The singer/guitarist recorded eight albums with the band from 1974 to 1984, plus recordings in 2008 and 2020.

• Cris Jacobs, 8 p.m. June 14. Hailing from Baltimore, the soul-blues singer-songwriter/guitarist released his fourth album, “One of These Days,” in April.
