Good Saturday morning to you friends. It’s time for Weekend Meanderings with Kim and Juliet! This is our weekly series where we share all of the things that piqued our interests and caught our eye.
It’s Memorial Day weekend friends! Can you even believe it? Where does the time go?
In between all of the fun activities that you have planned this weekend remember to take a moment to remember all of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country.
Tonight we are going to dinner and drinks with friends. Sunday morning a car show, then an hour or two at the pool and last but not least family and friends for a barbecue. Monday I might rest from all of the fun.

Hannibal French House
Do you like house tours? Me too! This week the Hannibal French house was listed for sale.
The house is nearly 200 years old and once belonged to Thomas Edison’s son and former NJ Governor Charles Edison. Charles bought and restored the mansion in 1948.
Since then it has had several owners, the latest had the house decorated by designer Veere Greeney. In fact it is featured in his 2018 bookVeere Grenney: A Point of View: On Decorating.

There is nothing better than relaxing by the pool on a hot summer day with a fruity co*cktail. Summer co*cktails keep you cool and are a great way to celebrate at your backyard bbq, outdoor concerts, and on the holidays.

Mojitos
Refreshing rum mojitos with lime and mint! With this recipe you can make them by the pitcher.
Sangria
Red wine, brandy and orange liquor makes an authentic Spanish sangria and a refreshing pitcher co*cktail to serve at your next party.
French 75
Made with lemon juice, champagne, St Germain elderflower liqueur, and gin. Sophisticated and delicious.
Classic Margarita
Fresh lime juice, agave, tequila, and orange liqueur is all that you need to make this refreshing co*cktail.

Blush Lily
If you visit my house this is the co*cktail that I serve most often, it is my favorite co*cktail. Fresh squid lime juice, cranberry juice, vodka and simple syrup.

If you watched the movie Titanic then you have heard Celine Dion sing. Whether you love her or not, you cannot deny that she is one of the most famous singers of our time. She is the 6th most successful female artist in the history of US Billboard 200 and has sold over 200 million records.
After suffering for years she was recently diagnosed with “stiff person syndrome”a neurological disorder affecting her muscles. This documentary tells the story of her life and how it has changed since her diagnosis.

Thursday I joined Sheri for our monthly series Sweet Treats for Your Sweet Tooth. We both shared a red, white and blue treat. I made a Patriotic No-Bake Cheesecake, it is easy to make and it is delicious(if I do say so myself). Sheri made a one bowl cake that you will love! Both recipes are perfect for Memorial Day and for the 4th of July as well.
