While many skiers are turning their sights on the summer months ahead, ski resorts themselves are taking the off-season to plan and announce improvement projects across their resorts on all scales.Last week, Great Gulf Group, one of North America's largest home builders, purchased land at the foot of Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC ski resort for $43 million, with a 25-year, $3 billion master plan to develop 1,100 acres of land into condos, townhomes, and single-family homes, along with a new retail village and lift lodge.Read the full SnowBrains article here: https://lnkd.in/exPueqST

As the ski season starts to whine down, it is easy for skiers to ask why many ski resorts close so early, even when there is plenty of snow to keep the lifts spinning, for weeks, if not months longer.
