US Open tee times, including Tiger Woods and Scottie Scheffler, for Thursday and Friday at Pinehurst No. 2 (2024)

PINEHURST — Tee times for the first two rounds of the 124th U.S. Open have been announced.

The United States Golf Association on Tuesday morning released groups and tee times for Thursday and Friday at Pinehurst Resort’s No. 2 course, which is hosting golf’s national championship for a fourth time in 25 years.

Three-time U.S. Open champion Tiger Woods, who is playing a tournament at Pinehurst for the first time since a runner-up finish in 2005, is scheduled to start at 7:29 a.m. on Thursday from No. 10 and 1:14 p.m. on Friday from No. 1. He’s grouped with Matt Fitzpatrick and Will Zalatoris.

Woods tied for third in 1999, but back surgery prevented him from teeing it up at Pinehurst in 2014.

Reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark is grouped with Open champion Brian Harman and U.S. Amateur champion Nick Dunlap. That trio, which gets rolling at 1:25 p.m. Thursday (No. 1) and 7:40 a.m. on Friday (No. 10), is among 156 golfers competing this week.

Thursday’s round will be televised from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on USA. NBC will pick up coverage Friday from 1-7 p.m., but each round will be streaming on Peaco*ck.
