Been an absolute pleasure working with the main man Des Kiffin and the rest of the management team at Wolves. Can’t thank the crew enough and well worth the drive every home game ! The back of house and floor staff are amazing and have delivered great service. This was my first gig for Compass Group working the Premier League teams , this led on to working many more - but I will always put Wolves first in the diary ! Looking forward to next season

I did a quick scan of today's Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and LA Times. As usual, multiple business stories around the “Big 3”, several (almost endless) news about Elon Musk, and an assortment of headlines covering the airlines, Disney, and tech giants talking A.I.But how about we start to celebrate and cover our small business owners like Christina Hollerbach that are not only innovators in their fields, but are leaders in creating better communities. Please listen to the podcast, share and subscribe. Thanks for all the support! #smallbusiness #entrepreneurship #downtowns #mainstreet #podcast

Building a successful restaurant is like crafting a winning team – each member is a vital piece of the puzzle. Choose team players who see themselves as integral parts of a unified force, not isolated islands. Together, they become the backbone of your success story. #TeamSuccess #UnifiedStrength #RestaurantLeadership

Having trouble deciding on your pipeline?Danny Meyer is a legendary New York restauranteur. He's known for Shake Shack, Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, and others. On the Tim Ferriss Show, he revealed his simple (but brutally-effective) 2x2 matrix. It's the best framework for managers to decide WHO to spend their time on.He graphs two things: Willingness + Ability. This clearly works for teams BUT why not apply this to how you decide which projects should go into the pipeline?#innovation #pipeline

Picture this: a restaurant where being rude is part of the concept. I stumbled upon one called "Dicks" in Vegas recently. The waitstaff delighted in putting you down and offering playful criticism. It may sound strange, but it got me thinking... 🤔While we don't advocate for rudeness, we help businesses develop strategies that captivate guests in their own distinctive ways. 📚✨Take Hooters, for example. Beyond its controversial image, it's undeniable that their simple concept and exceptional staff training have left a mark on the industry. 🦉💪But it's not just about the concept; it's about finding the right employees who embody your brand's essence. 👥💼🌐 mattrolfe.com✉️ matt.rolfe@westshorehospitalitygroup.com📞 647.212.4602#Connect #Team #Hospitality #Management #CulinaryFederation #PassionDriven #CareerSuccess #InspirationUnleashed #LeadershipExcellence #FindYourSpark #StayPassionate #UnleashYourPotential #CareerWisdom #PassionFuelled #DreamBig #IgniteYourPassion #CareerJourney #FollowYourHeart #PassionUnleashed #ProfessionalGrowth #ChefLife

📸🍽️[Picture of a lively restaurant team, smiling and working together]Listen up, restaurateurs! It all begins with YOU. 🙌You can't become a great restaurant without assembling a solid team. 💪 A team that works together, laughs together, and goes above and beyond together. A team that treats each other like family, and your customers like royalty. 👑But, let me tell you a secret - a team is only as solid as its leader. That's right. It starts from the top! 🗻 You need to be that beacon of light guiding your crew in the stormiest of nights, you need to be that rock, providing strength in the toughest of times. However, being a solid leader doesn't stop there. You can't lead if you don't have a compass. 🧭 And that compass is your core values. They are your north star, your guiding principle. They form the DNA of your establishment, permeating every aspect of your business, from the kitchen to the front-of-house, from your menu to the customer service you provide.Remember, your core values need to be so deeply ingrained in your culture that they become second nature to every member of your team. They should be the secret sauce that sets you apart from the competition. 🏆#RestaurantSuccess #Leadership #CoreValues #RestaurantCoach #FoodBusiness #Teamwork #Culture #DonaldBurns #LetsSoarTogether

A productive week spent at the Brewers Association CBC in Vegas, meeting suppliers, brewers, and event organizers. Massive thanks to the Brewers Association and Konvoy for their support. Excited to share that there are lots of BD opportunities for We Are Beer down the line. Looking forward to a productive summer working with both organizations over here in the UK. Despite the challenges that the industry is facing globally, leaving Las Vegas feeling pretty positive. Why? ➡ Because the topline trading numbers are decent and people still want premium. The raw material for commercial success is there. ➡ Because the craft and indy sector is where the vast majority of "new" in beer starts, and where the creative capital lies - both brands and products. ➡ Because we're entering into a new phase for good beer and we haven't really seen the sector make its move post-covid. Knowing and meeting the hard working and smart people in beer, and seeing some of the plans and strategies coming into play, I think you'll see good beer kick on again. Which is great for the whole category. Excited to get stuck in.
